Azu Restaurant & Tapas Bar

Today we are sharing a review for a delicious restaurant in Ojai. The next time you're out there stop by and try Azu! 

First Impression: Immediately attracted the style of the restaurant! It looked inviting and warm! Taste: Very good! We started our dinner with the oh so appropriate “Caprese Artichoke.” This appetizer consisted of grilled artichoke, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil and garlic vinaigrette. Bethany had the “Summer Quinoa Salad” for her main course. The Summer Quinoa Salad is made up of roasted corn, arugula, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas, quinoa topped with lemon mint vinaigrette. She absolutely loved this salad! For my main course I had the “Grilled Salmon,” which was grilled Scottish organic salmon with a side of cauliflower “rice” and a lemon preserve and caper sauce. I thought the cauliflower rice was a great side and very unique. The entire dish was very well presented and tasted just as good as it looked!

Décor: They used a lot of warm colors inside of the restaurant. There was a beautiful long oak wood bar when you first walk in with a gelato freezer connected. White linen tablecloths were used on the tables outside. Very well decorated throughout the entire restaurant.Price: For a great dining experience and good food it is very reasonable!

Service: Our waiter was very attentive to us. He would come by often to make sure we were doing well throughout our meal.

Ambiance: Azu was very quiet, a great place for a date or business meeting. They have a private dining room in the back that is perfect for large parties.

Overall Experience: We both really enjoyed dining at Azu. Everything had great flavor and was presented beautifully! We will definitely dine here the next time we are in Ojai!
