M Café

Happy Tuesday everyone!

We have been hearing a lot about local restaurant M Café, so we finally decided to go visit their Beverly Hills location. This establishment has a great reputation for tasty cuisine catered towards vegan and vegetarians. Also known for their juices and smoothies their menu has plenty to offer anyone.

First Impression: Upon walking in we immediately enjoyed the pleasant setting and cute décor.  Also, we were impressed by how extensive the menu was.

Taste: We were excited for their breakfast menu and decided to dine here early in the morning. Bethany had the Vegan Benedict, which consisted of smoky tempeh bacon, sliced tomato, steamed kale and tofu scramble on a grilled ciabatta.  I tried the Scottish Smoked Salmon Benedict, which was made up of smoked salmon, tofu scramble, steamed kale, sliced tomato also served on a grilled ciabatta. Both benedicts were topped with a soy hollandaise sauce. We each had freshly made juices.  Bethany had the beet based juice, "M Tonic" and I had a greens based juice, "Detox."

Décor: We really loved the décor and how it was set up European bistro style. It was decorated with mid century metal pendant lights and white subway tile. Also, for your fresh morning coffee they have a grand size espresso machine along with fresh pastries lining the display case.

Price: The price ranges from $8 to $15 depending on what you order, which we thought was fair.

Service: The staff at M Café is very friendly and courteous.  Though this restaurant does not offer full table service our food came out very promptly.

Ambiance: M Café is definitely a café. It’s a very compact setting that is great for a meal alone or in a group of people but not a great date spot as you won’t get that much privacy.

Overall Experience: We think this is a really great dining spot that is centrally located and has a lot to offer vegans and vegetarians.
