Norma's at The Parker Palm Springs
If you’re heading out to Palm Springs anytime soon (or ever!) you should definitely take the time to stop by The Parker hotel! Bethany and I ate here at their diner Norma’s and this is what we had to say about it!
4200 E Palm Canyon Dr, Palm Springs, CA 92264
The hotel is beautiful! Once you walk through the tall orange doors the interior immediately captures your attention. Jonathan Adler was the designer behind the interior of this hotel, so that explains why! As you make your way through the lobby and lounge areas of the hotel you end up outside at Norma’s. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cute and inviting!
Once we were seated our waiter greeted us with samples of the smoothie of the day. (Which was very tasty!) Bethany had the Eggs Florentine, which she loved! This dish is served with sautéed spinach, peewee potatoes and applewood smoked bacon. (Which she ordered hers without bacon.) I ordered the Rock Lobster and Mango Salad. This salad was SO delicious! They serve the lobster with, mangos, carrots, tomatoes and cucumber over a bed of lettuce with a citrus vinaigrette on the side. This salad was really filling and refreshing! We definitely recommend trying both of these items!
We love how the hotel and restaurant mixes vintage Palm Springs style with Mid Century enthusiasm. The teal, orange and yellow colors of the restaurant are perfect for this outdoor setting!
The prices at Norma’s are very reasonable for a five star diner at a very upscale hotel. That is unless you are ordering one of the two “Zillion Dollar Lobster Frittata’s” which will set you back $100 or $1000. ;)
Excellent! Our server was very friendly and constantly checked on us.
It’s very quiet and relaxing here! The seating is all outdoors and you really feel like you’re away from it all!
Fantastic! We enjoyed our dishes very much! Great food, great ambiance and great style! We highly reccomend trying Norma's out!
