Palm Springs Piña
Happy Friday everyone!
We hope you all have had a great week! We have a refreshing, super delicious smoothie recipe for you today! Bethany and I spent half of the week out in Palm Springs. This drink was inspired by the pools and laid back vacation feel of the desert. This smoothie definitely hits the spot out in that heat! Try this recipe out this weekend when you’re out by the pool! :)
“Palm Springs Piña”
Serves one 16oz glass (or two small glasses)
- 1 Large Banana
- ½ of a Yellow Nectarine
- ½ of a Lime (peeled)
- 3-4 Large Mint Leaves
- A Very Small Handful of Pineapple Chunks (about 4) Feel free to add more if you’re a pineapple lover!
- 1 Cup of Coconut Water (Young Thai Coconut or whatever brand you prefer)
- 3-4 Ice Cubes
*OPTIONAL: You can add some of the coconut meat from your coconut so you have that texture and add extra taste to your smoothie!
- Add your banana, nectarine, lime, mint leaves, pineapple and coconut water to a blender and mix high until everything is blended well!
- Enjoy! :)
